02.12.2011. Carpenters Union Valentine's Dinner/Dance @ The Brownstone House

So Saturday night I made my way to the Brownstone House to set up for the Carpenter's Union Annual dinner/dance. Now I have been doing this party for 5 years now, and it's always in the Club Room at the Brownstone, a beautiful smaller room that we fit into perfectly.... Well... This year, to our surprise, Tommy & Albert upgraded us to the Main West room!!... Now we have some serious real estate!!... It looked awesome!!... They set the room up like I've Never seen.... Cocktail hour was on one side with a seafood station, full bar, and passing... The other side had dinner seating, dance floor & yes... ME!!!... Anyway... After enjoying the best food around... It was Party Time!!!... I had a ball playing everything from Sinatra, Glen Miller, 60s & 70s classics, and finishing with some of todays hits!!!... I really do enjoy hanging with Ed & the crew.... They sure like to dance!!!.... See U Guys Next Year!!!!....

02.11.2011. Mixing for Jeff Scott Gould @ The Florentine Gardens (Michele & Len's Wedding)

What do you mean I have Friday night off?!?!... Oh, this will not do... As many of you may know, I don't like not doing what I do... So when I saw that I wasn't working on a Friday evening... I picked up my iPhone 4 and called my buddy Jeff Scott Gould to see if he needed an assistant... I was in luck!!... Turns out, he has a wedding at the Florentine Gardens for Michele and Len... Perfect!!!... Time to have some fun!!... So I grabbed my headphones and clothes, jumped in his van... and off we went!!!...

It's a Valentine weekend, so it was fitting to see the bridal party rockin the red , and yes we played Lady in Red as a request for them. We started off the night with "Shots' as the intro song and they finished off with shots at the bar, and in between the dance floor kept rolling along.  The groom, got hoisted up by his buddies and even went Maverick on his wife and sang "You Lost That Loving Feeling" with a little back up from the guys. All in all a great to kick off a weekend of events... Plus... I got this Kool pic of myself against the curtain from the uplighting!!!.... LOL... Thanx Jefe!!!...

02.05.2011. Samantha's Sweet 16 @ Perle' Club & Lounge

Saturday Evening, Myself, my DJ Chris Mezzi and Rick Taborda made our way to Perle' Club & Lounge for Samantha's Sweet 16 celebration. I've been looking forward to this party for a while now... Over the summer I did Samantha's sister Ashley's wedding, and I already knew this night was going to awesome!!... Since I already knew the family, I was pretty confident that this party was gonna be off the hook!!... First of all... we set up in a club, so I had all the accessories!!... sound system, lighting, video screens... the whole nine yards!!!... Once everyone had arrived... It was time to introduce the birthday gurl.... The entire party was on the dance floor and I had them form a circle.... then, the hands started clappin'.... and without further a do... Our sweet 16 princess made her way in... worked the circle... posed for some pics.... and signed some autographs!!.... Now that's how you start a party!!!.... Mom Then welcomed everyone for attending, and it was on!!!.... The rest of the night was just Krazy!!!.... Literally a "Saturday Nite Dance Party"!!!.... Luv It!!!... Samantha's friends and family are truly an awesome bunch!!... After Samantha's candlelighting ceremony, a quick, well deserved break on the dancefloor set the mood for her look back memories montage... and then yes... Back to the dancing!!!.... Rick, Chris & myself honestly had a great time with the entire crew!!!... What a great night!!!.... Thanx again to Samantha and her family!!!... You guys really Rock!!!.... See You Next Time!!!!....

02.04.2011. Jefferson School Fund Raiser @ The Brownstone House

Friday night myself and my brother/DJ Craig headed over to the Brownstone House to get ready to hang with crew from Jefferson School for there annual fund raiser. Now this was the first year I was playing for these guys.... So I wanted to definately make a good impression... Even though I actually knew a bunch of the guests... I wanted to bring my "A" game... During cocktail hour, we announced the raffles and 50/50's and tried to get everyone to dig deep into there pockets to help the cause. Once the evening got started, Denise and the gurlz welcomed everyone and talked a 'lil business... Now it was party time!!... In between the Brownstone serving the best food in town, and calling out some lucky winner's for the tricky tray, It was time to do little dancing!!!.... And yes.... that's what we did!!... There was NO problem getting these guys to make there way to the floor... They were Awesome!!!... What a great night!!!... I think it's safe to say I'll be seeing these guys again and again!!!.... So to Denise and the crew... I say thank you for having us, and I def look forward to the next event!!!...

01.29.2011. Glen Rock Fire Dept. Installation Dinner @ The Tides Estates

Saturday night, Glen Rock Volunteer Fire Department had there annual Installation Dinner at the Tides Estates, and myself and my DJ Craig Knox got to join in on the fun!!... This was the year I had the pleasure of playing for these guys, so I wanted to make a good impression... They had given me a playlist of some of there favorite songs to hear, and it worked out perfect!!... After swearing in some new members and giving out the service awards they could not wait any longer... they were ready to dance!!... And thats what they did... What a great bunch of guys and gurlz!!... There was a huge range of ages there, and everyone joined in on the fun... I guess you can say we took a musical journey through time!!!... Bottom line... I had a great night with these guys and would love to DJ for them again in the future!!...

01.28.2011. Pompton Lakes First Aid Squad Installation Dinner @ The Tides Estates

Ahhh.... It's nice to home!!... Thats right... Friday Night I had the pleasure of Hangin' with the Pompton Lakes/Riverdale First Aid Squad for there annual Installation dinner at The Tides Estates with my DJ Chris Mezzi. Awesome Time!!... Of coarse it didn't hurt that I knew about half the crowd since I grew up in Riverdale... I had some good friends that I have done weddings for (Jim & Danielle)... Friends that I haven't seen since last years dinner... My cousin Millie who introduced me to her boyfriend... And even saw some New faces in the crowd. These guys really are a Kool bunch and deserve All the recognition given to them. They are on call 24/7... 365 days a year... Volunteering to help keep us safe. Big Props To You ALL!!... After the swearing in of new members, awards given out and drinks and dinner, It was party time!!... We rocked it the rest of the evening and we even had a special surprise guest DJ stop in.... Yep... Jeff Scott Gould popped in after his party was over to say hello to fellow Riverdale peeps. So to sum the night up... I was really glad to be a part of there special evening and I'm looking forward to many more years of partying with these guys...

The snow has been shoveled, the roads are cleared, so here we go again! Jersey Shore viewing party kicks off at 10 with Trivia and giveaways during the commercials.
